Access logs and privacy

RESDS records IP address, approximate IP-based location, browser user-agent, requested page, selected search filters, referring page, request time, approximate visible-page duration, network information and campaign tags for site operations and usage analysis.

Detailed access logs are available only to the site administrator and are automatically removed after 7 days. Daily visitor identifiers use IP and browser information; they are estimates, not verified people. Aggregate document view and download counters are retained.

No advertising trackers, cross-site tracking cookies or device fingerprinting scripts are added by this analytics feature. Administrators use an essential secure login cookie lasting up to 8 hours.

Previously downloaded files cannot be recalled. A download request does not establish that a file transfer completed.
