Access logs and privacy

RESDS records IP address, approximate IP-based location, browser user-agent, requested page, selected search filters, referring page, request time, network information and campaign tags. Optional analytics starts only after consent and interaction evidence, and records clicks, form-submit events (without entered contents), scroll depth, viewport size and estimated active reading time. Approximately 10% of eligible visitor identifiers also contribute pointer coordinates and masked structural page layouts. No page text, input contents, PDF pixels or full device screen is captured. Use the Privacy button on any public page to withdraw consent. We separately retain a minimal record of your consent or refusal, its time, page and whether it came from a button, a saved preference or a browser privacy signal. Refusing optional analytics does not prevent this preference record and does stop detailed behavior collection. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable optional analytics for site operations and usage analysis.

Detailed access logs are available only to the site administrator and are automatically removed after 7 days. Daily visitor identifiers use IP and browser information; they are estimates, not verified people. Unclassified visits remain pending; interaction evidence indicates a suspected human, not a verified identity. Native browser PDF content cannot be observed. Collection is capped at 120 batches per page. Aggregate document view and download counters are retained.

No advertising trackers, cross-site tracking cookies or device fingerprinting scripts are added by this analytics feature. Administrators use an essential secure login cookie lasting up to 8 hours.

Previously downloaded files cannot be recalled. A download request does not establish that a file transfer completed.
