SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURES

EYE EXPOSURE: Immediately flush the eyes with copious amounts of water (lukewarm if possible) for several minutes. Assure flushing under eyelids. A victim may need assistance in keeping their eyelids open. Get immediate competent medical attention. SKIN EXPOSURE: Wash affected area with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothes if necessary. Seek medical assistance if irritation or redness persists. INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. Closely monitor the victim for signs of respiratory problems, such as difficulty in breathing, coughing, wheezing, or pain. In such cases seek immediate medical assistance, Give oxygen if deemed necessary. If not breathing administer CPR. Get emergency care immediately. INGESTION: Seek medical assistance immediately. Keep the victim calm. Do not induce vomiting.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING: Prevent prolonged breathing of vapors or spray mist. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not take internally. Do not handle until the manufacturers safety precautions have been read and understood. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Protect container against physical damage. CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE: Keep container tightly closed. Keep containers upright to prevent leakage. Use and store this material in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and all sources of ignition. Store away from incompatible materials. Do not store near reducing agents, acids, alkalies, and flammable substances.

EYE PROTECTION: Always wear approved safety glasses with side shields, safety goggles, and face shield when handling a chemical substance in the laboratory.
